Cochran Mills

I'm trying to update my blog. Here are some pictures from Tripp's most recent field trip to Cochran Mills.

Zoee has a lot of owls in her room. Tripp has been asking me if I thought he would ever get to see a real owl for about 3 weeks.

He got to see a real owl. I think it's such a neat bird.

Fun Weekend!

We had a busy but FUN weekend. We started out at dinner with Bill's dad and Sonya Friday night. We went to a yummy Mexican restaurant. the kids ate their weight in chips and cheese dip. I think they could eat that at every meal.

Zoee enjoyed feeding Bill all night!

On Saturday we ran errands all morning. The boys had fun trying on Halloween costumes in every store we went too.

Saturday night we attended a wedding at Dunaway Gardens. It was beautiful!!! When the bride walked down the steps Zoee started yelling, "yeah...here she comes...pink-l-bell." She calls every princess she sees "pink-l-bell" (translation...Tinkerbell)

We had a long wait between the wedding a reception so we took the kids to explore the gardens. Tripp said he thought this is what heaven would look like. I hope he's right. It was one of the prettiest places I have been to.

As we explored the gardens I mostly saw the backs of my children as they were running to see some new rock or flower or well or stream.

Tripp started football practice! He is having so much fun. I think I write that on every post but He usually IS having so much fun no matter what he's doing! I should live that way more often. Ahh...the lessons we can learn from our children.

Not really. He actually spent most of his practice time dancing!!! :-)

Going to football practice is fun for everyone!! Jasper and Zoee spend the whole time running around the field. We all sleep good on Monday nights!

Fire and Safety Day

Tripp and his class recently took a trip to the fire department and the police station! He said it was the best day ever!

They got to get in the back of the police car and even spent some time in a jail cell. Hopefully this will be his only time in either!!

Grandparents Day

Yesterday was Grandparents Day at school. Tripp was so excited to have everyone come to see his class. They sang some songs and recited their memory verse(Proverbs 4:1-6) and then served all the grandparents a light lunch.

We told him he had to dress up (he wore a collar shirt with his jeans :-)). I think he took it a little too far because he also cut his own hair for the occasion. He cut all his bangs off and thought it looked great! We didn't tell him any different.

Funny girl

For the last couple of days Zoee has been walking around saying Biiitch!! Biiitch!!! I told Bill I had no reason to use that particular word during the day so she didn't hear it from me but we could not figure out what she was trying to say. The other night Bill was yelling for Tripp to come clean something up and as Bill started yelling for Tripp...Zoee ran around the corner yelling too, "Biiiitch, Biiitch, air de Biiitch!!! When Tripp got downstairs Zoee said, "air ee is" :-)

She had been calling Tripp.

Sundays!!!!

We love being with our friends at church every Sunday. It's what we look forward to the most every week. I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends. It has been fun watching all the kids grow up together.

Playing after church

Zoee and Jasper usually get a head start on the playground before Tripp and Sam get out. They have so much fun!!! Zoee loves the slide.
