I thought it might be neat to look back at this one day and see what a typical day is like for me. Although no day is ever the same...they are always busy.

The alarm on my ipod went off at 7:00 am.  I turned it off and told myself that I didn't really need to get out of bed until 7:30. Zoee rolled off her pallet at 7:15 and asked for a waffle, some chocolate milk and The Wiggles. I got some coffee and watched the wiggles and thought about how I should have gotten up an hour ago to unload the dishwasher and make the bed and start some laundry. Oh well...maybe tomorrow.
We left the house to take Tripp to school and listened to every ones favorite songs. Zoee loves "Delight Yourself in the Lord." It's from a CD that uses word for word scripture in the songs. She calls it "Shine like a dog" because the main chorus says...delight yourself in the Lord, and He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn.
Jasper likes "Children of God" by Third Day and Tripp likes "House of God" by John Waller. We listen to these 3 songs EVERY morning.

When we got home Jasper ate breakfast...a hot dog. I know...I know, no fit mother would give her kid a hot dog for breakfast. I really try to get him to eat but he would rather starve than eat anything healthy. He has a bad cold and cough right now so he laid on the stairs and watched Ponyo while Zoee and I played outside in the sandbox and on the trampoline. She asked me to sweep the crumbs off the trampoline so that she could "butt bounce"
We came in at 9:30 to do our morning chores. The ones that I should have gotten up at 6:30 to do.  Zoee played quietly in my room with her babies (or so I thought) and Jasper was still watching Ponyo. This is how she appeared in kitchen. Then she announced that she had covered all her babies in my special, expensive lotion that Bill brings me when he goes to TX.

I cleaned up the lotion mess. It was on every baby and all over the carpet. Then I hooked Jasper up to his nebulizer. he does so good with these now. He used to scream and fight every time.
Time for school. We learned about the letter 's'.
We sang songs and did puzzles and read about the sun.
The highlight of our pre-school day was going to be homemade playdough that they could shape into an 's'. We went downstairs to make it and I realized that I bought corn starch instead of cream of tartar. Off to the store.
With all the ingredients in hand we went home and made the dough. They loved it.

They played while I cleaned up the HUGE mess and then we went to pick up Tripp.
Jasper took along his Tag Reader (great for the car) and Zoee took a nap.

By the time we got home Jasper was asleep too so I carried them both in and put them on my bed and they stayed asleep!!!!!!! I helped Tripp start his homework and got in an hour workout.

We had hot dogs for dinner (we grilled out with our good friends Sunday and had lots of hot dogs left over).
We all went outside to throw the football before Tripp's football evaluations. Zoee insisted that she catch it in her pink baseball glove.

We headed to football when Bill got home. I took Jasper and Zoee in the gym to play basketball. Jasper says that basketball is HIS sport. He can't wait to be old enough to play.

While Tripp finished his football we explored the hills and fields around us.

Zoee and Jasper made up a dance :)

We waited and waited....
and had lots of fun!

We were home by 8:30. Everyone got a shower and a brownie and headed off to bed.

Bill and I finished the evening with The Bachelor Pad :)
I cleaned up and made lunches and was in bed by 11:30.
I never did get to the laundry and I think I brushed my teeth at 5pm but it was a fun day.
Ready for Tuesday.
