It seems like just yesterday that Tripp (T-Bone) was a little baby. He was soo sweet (he still is). I can't believe he'll be starting school so soon (August 11). We homeschooled Tripp for Kindergarten but think now he is ready to spread his wing and soar into first grade. He is such a social and fun-loving little boy (got that from his daddy). I know he will love it.
We went to meet his teacher on Monday. She is such a godly woman and has such patience and love for children. She has been teaching there for five years. We had the opportunity to visit her class last year. The thing I remember the most was that she was able to redirect the students without them even knowing what she was doing. We got to see her teach them a bible story (Jacob and Esau). I was amazed at how engaged the children were. They knew so much about the story and had so many questions. I'm embarrassed to say that they knew more than me.After the visit on Monday Tripp told everyone that called about how wonderful his new class was going to be. He is overrun with excitement. I know we made the right decision to send him to school. This will be his first life experience outside of us (other than church). I can't wait to see the wonderful things that he can accomplish.
More posts to come later. There are plenty adventures to share.
